SPIRULINA SALAD RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 3 medium heads of kale
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup Olive Oil
- 1/2 Lemon juice or sipping vinegar
- 3 Tbsp Spirulina
- 1/2 Tbsp Pink Salt
- Nutritional Yeast (optional)
TO PREPARE:
Take your 3 heads of kale and de stem them and tear
or cut into small pieces.
-Squeeze the lemon onto the kale and salt. Then massage for a few minutes until the kale is soft.
Throw into a big mixing bowl.
-With your avocado, olive oil and spirulina, homogenize into a dressing with your hands. (this is the best part)
- Mix the dressing and kale together with your hands.
- Sprinkle a little Nutritional Yeast on top for added flavor.
SPIRULINA SALAD DRESSING RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 tsp ChocolaTree Spirulina
- 2 inch fresh ginger
- 1 inch fresh turmeric
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tsp sea salt
- pinch cayenne
Directions
- Add all ingredients into blender
- Blend on HIGH for 1 minute
- Massage into kale or mixed greens
- Toss in other salad toppings
Salad Suggestion: Kale with soaked pumpkin seeds, apple slices, and thin red onion rings
