Spirulina Salad & Dressing Recipe

SPIRULINA SALAD RECIPE

 

Ingredients: 

  • 3 medium heads of kale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Lemon juice or sipping vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp Spirulina
  • 1/2 Tbsp Pink Salt
  • Nutritional Yeast (optional) 


TO PREPARE:
 Take your 3 heads of kale and de stem them and tear
or cut into small pieces.
-Squeeze the lemon onto the kale and salt. Then massage for a few minutes until the kale is soft.
Throw into a big mixing bowl.
-With your avocado, olive oil and spirulina, homogenize into a dressing with your hands. (this is the best part)
- Mix the dressing and kale together with your hands.
- Sprinkle a little Nutritional Yeast on top for added flavor.

 

SPIRULINA SALAD DRESSING RECIPE

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tsp ChocolaTree Spirulina 
  • 2 inch fresh ginger
  • 1 inch fresh turmeric
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • pinch cayenne

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients into blender
  2. Blend on HIGH for 1 minute
  3. Massage into kale or mixed greens
  4. Toss in other salad toppings

Salad Suggestion: Kale with soaked pumpkin seeds, apple slices, and thin red onion rings
