About: Chlorella is genus of green algae (family Chlorellaceae) found either singly or clustered in fresh or salt water. The whole chlorella plant is used to make nutritional supplements and medicine. There are several species of chlorella with Chlorella vulgaris being one of the most commonly used in supplements. Chlorella algae is a cousin of spirulina.

Our Organic Chlorella Powder, is cultivated in Taiwan using pure nutrient-rich water, in a carefully controlled certified organic system. Our chlorella is then tableted and packaged without the addition of binders, preservatives, or other agents, with care taken to protect quality and nutrients. 

Studies have shown that chlorella benefits the entire body by supporting healthy hormonal function, promoting cardiovascular health, helping to negate the effects of chemotherapy and radiation, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, and aiding in the detoxification of our bodies.

Cracked-Cell

The cell wall surrounding chlorella is indigestible, so it needs to be broken in order for you to get the benefits of its nutrients. Chlorella that has gone through a unique process that breaks open the plant's cell wall and unlocks chlorella's nutritional bounty is called cracked-cell or broken-cell. The cracked-cell chlorella provides optimal bioavailability, so you can absorb and digest chlorella's nutrients at high levels. In fact, an independent study showed the digestibility of broken cell wall chlorella to be an astounding 83%.

Storage Instructions

If cared for properly, our Organic Chlorella Powder has a shelf life of two to three years. To preserve the freshness of this product:

• Avoid exposure to heat. The powder will remain fresh if stored at room temperature or below.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
• Seal the jar tightly after each use.
• Store in a dry place, and avoid all contact with moisture.
