LIVE SPICE PIE
Crust:
1/3 cup macadamia nuts
1 cup coconut flakes
pinch nutmeg
1/8 tsp pink salt
2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp vanilla
Blend nuts only first in food processor to release oil, then, add other ingredients in order listed. Use a fluted tart pan and press the crust into the bottom and side.
Filling:
1 Avocado
1/2 cup coconut crème
1 cup carrot juice
1/4 cup honey or 3 Tbsp soaked dates. Or both if you like it sweet!
2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp cinnamon spice
pinch pink salt
Blend liquids first (excluding coconut oil) in a blender. When thoroughly blended, add the powders and honey. Then add the coconut oil. Take contents and pour over your crust. Set into the freezer for 1 hour or refrigerator for a few hours until set. Then serve and enjoy an amazing delicious and nutritious pie!
Makes 1 pie cut into 8 large pieces
