Green Kefir Smoothie

This is a delicious, light and refreshing smoothie. Great way to start your day filled with probiotics and alkalizing greens!

1 banana
 - 

2 cups kefir made from the kefir grains. (* we use our home made coconut milk and coconut creme to make the kefir – Recipe below. )


2 cups Water
1/2 tsp cardamom powder


1/2 tsp Ginseng eeTee -Dragon Herbs


1 Tbsp greens mix - QNL


1 tsp Spirulina -Health Force


1 tsp lecithin - QNL


Dash of pink salt
 
* To make kefir ~
First make coconut milk – 1 cup coconut flakes to 4 cups water, blend on high in the blender with 1/4 cup of ice. Then squeeze thru a nut milk bag. With this 4 cups of coconut milk add :
1 cup coconut creme
1 packet of kefir grains
2 Tbsp coconut sugar

Let sit in glass container (only fill to 3/4 from the top. do not fill to the top so to let movement happen) with lid on for 3 days. Check on it daily sharing kind loving manners with your brewing kefir. After 3 days, slightly stir and use. Can store in the fridge for weeks.
