Raw Savory Scramble

Raw “Savory” Scramble

The base for this scramble is pate that resembles scrambled eggs. You can add any of your favorite veggies and create unique flavors with spices.

The “No-Egg” Pate

1⁄4 cup soaked almonds
1⁄4 cup socked walnuts
1/3 cup soaked sunflower seeds 1/3 cup water
1-teaspoon turmeric
1⁄2 teaspoon salt

Process in a food processor the nuts with S blade; add water, salt and turmeric. The mixture should resemble scrambled with chunks in it, add more water if needed for consistency.

For Spanish Style scramble add the following

2 handfuls of spinach
1 medium tomato chopped and seeds 1 small scallion minced
1⁄2 avocado chopped

Transfer the pate into a mixing bowl, wilt the spinach and add the rest of the ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon. Add salt if needed. Serve.
