This is a warming and hearty curry that can be made to as hot of a spice as you desire. Just add more cayenne or spice of your choice.
In large pot add, in this order:
2 Cups Coconut Oil (or as a substitute try Ghee)
1 ½ Cups Golden Onion
1 Cup Garlic Chopped
½ Cup Fennel Seed
¾ Cups Curry Powder
6 Tbsp Coriander Powder
6 Tbsp Garam Masala
1 Tbsp Sea Salt
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Let all the spices simmer on low in the coconut oil as you mix for about 5-10 minutes.
Then add 3 ½ Cups Buckwheat and add 15 Cups Water.
Let Boil until Buckwheat is tender, about 25-45 minutes.
