Cher's earthly body will be cremated on November 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Her family is opening the chapel for her friends and community to hold sacred space for her and honor her during this time.
Cher's sons will hold a celebration of life for their mother in the coming months after they have had time to grieve. This "open chapel" on November 5 is not in lieu of her celebration of life.
There will not be a program - please come and stay for as long as you would like. The time will be open for anyone to share a song, chant, or story in honor of Cher and allow a sacred ceremony to evolve. If you play an instrument, please bring it if you would like.
Please bring your favorite picture of Cher that we will save for her celebration of life. If you would like to bring nourishment to share, please do. Please share this invitation with those blessed to have known Cher and thank you for holding space with us.
